a Festivus for the Rest of Us
Merry Christmas! We have been so blessed this year! Our sweet Henry Jordan joined our family and has brought us more joy then we could have ever imagined! We are members of Gods true church and have a knowledge of His plan of Happiness!
And we've been blessed with so many wonderful family members and friends that enrich our lives every day! We couldn't ask for anything more!
We got to celebrate Christmas with the 4-Stones a couple weeks early, and we were all spoiled! Henry loves his Sing-a-ma-Jig and all the other toys and clothes he got! And Jordan and I are having TOO much fun spending the Christmas Cash we got! Don't worry, Mom, we'll post pictures of what we buy as soon as we're done shopping!
The same weekend we celebrated with the 4-Stones, we also celebrated with the Fortunes! It's so funny to me that all growing up the girls completely outnumbered the boys, and now when we get together, it's like a little village of only boys! Alright, there are two little girls, but there's also four grandsons and two "uncles" (who happen to be 6 & 3)! So, the boys are definately in the lead! How fun for them to all grow up together!
We spent Christmas Day (and the week before) with the Bartlett's in California. It's been so fun catching up with all the family and friends out here in Cali, and introducing everyone to Henry.
His cousins, Mace, Cruz, & Jax sure do LOVE him!
Henry was the sweet Baby Jesus in the Bartlett Family Christmas Story rendition!
This cute boy was born the same day Henry was to one of Jordan's best friends (9/28/10)and weighed 6 ounces less at birth. Now, Henry weighs about 13 pounds and Jesse only weighs 9! It's incredible the size difference!

We heart Shutterfly!
Who doesn't love a good deal? Anyone who knows me, knows that I'm a fan of bargains, but I'm a SUPER fan of items that are FREE! So, when I heard that Shutterfly was giving away 50 FREE Holiday cards to those who would blog about their greatness, I couldn't resist!
I've been a fan of Shutterfly for several years. It all started when I created my Wedding Book on their site. It was so easy, even this LEFT BRAINED, Accountant could do it, and make it cute! After my wedding book, I made several sets of customized Thank You cards, and a couple other photo gifts. And of course, I've used their photo printing service to print photos of all sizes, from the standard 4x6 to a gian 24x36 that is hanging in my bedroom! And I have never been disappointed with the results. In fact, I've always been pleasantly surprised by the quality and timeliness of the product I receive.
So, knowing what I know about Shutterfly, and being the bargain lover that I am, I couldn't resist the opportunity to create our family's Holiday Card from one of the many darling designs that Shutterfly offers on their site. In fact, they have so many choices, I may just have to make a couple different ones!
Thanks, Shutterfly, for this wonderful offer! I can't wait to create my family's card!

Family Pics
Since we're officially a "FAMILY" now (according to Jordan, he and I weren't a family until we added Henry!), I wanted to get FAMILY pictures done. I asked some of my friends for a photographer referral, and LUCKED-OUT BIG TIME when my sweet friend, Lara, referred me to her friend, Rachel. I was told that Rachel was just starting her photography business, and because she was still "building her portfolio" we got a SCREAMING DEAL on our photo session!
However, I can NOT believe that she is just starting out, because the pictures she's shown me are AMAZING!!! She sent me the following "teasers" and I can't wait to get the CD with the rest! I think she did WONDERFUL!!! And if anyone else is needing a SPECTACULAR PHOTOGRAPHER, contact me and I'll get you her info!
Can you say "Christmas Card"?!?

My FAVORITE
This time of year brings one of my all time FAVORITE things...Christmas Lights at Temple Square!!! And this year was the best yet, because I got to share it with my two favorite boys!!!
Henry slept the whole time, which is amazing, considering it was pretty cold out!
Jordan and I LOVED seeing the lights and beautiful displays!
This outing has turned into one of our first Family Holiday Traditions! I know we've gone every year we've been married, and I think we went the two years we were dating, as well! Fun, fun, fun!
I LOVE it!
As a "Henry Update"... He is now 9 WEEKS OLD!!! I can't believe how fast the time has gone! He's still a super sweet boy who loves to smile, babble, coo & EAT! He's chunking up, and we couldn't be happier!
