I thought the day would never come...

...that I would FINALLY get to see Celine Dion in concert! But it did! And it was well worth the wait!
My sisters and mom and I bought tickets to Celine's SLC concert in November 2007! The concert was scheduled for November 2008! Then, one week before the scheduled performance, the concert was postponed until February...and a Sunday in February none the less!
Well, my sisters and I decided we were still going to go, and my mom (being the good example that she is) decided to not attend since it was on a Sunday! She has more strength than the rest of her daughters combined!
I'm sorry to say, Mom, but the concert was AMAZING!!! We were on the first row of the Upper Bowl and the view was great! We had so much fun screaming, singing, and dancing! I wish we could go again!

What's $13,000 a month anyways?!?

So, Jordan and I celebrated Valentines Day one week late by going to St.George for the weekend. We went to 25 of the 26 St.George Parade of Homes houses, and let me just say, they were amazing!
The finishes in all the houses were beautiful, the pools and landscaping were awesome, and the vistas were some that made me finally understand the saying, "The view was worth a million bucks!" I found myself saying at several houses, "I would pay the million bucks to be able to wake up to this view everyday!" It was stunning!
Even Jordan was quoted as saying, "What do we need to do so that we can move to St.George?" Obviously, we were both awe struck by the houses we saw. But, to try and gain some perspective on the homes we were looking at, I ran a quick calculation on what a mortgage would cost on a $3 million dollar house, and it was pretty much $13,000 / month! Wow! Who can afford these mansions???!!! It's fun to dream, anyways!
But, seriously, I think these Bartletts might one day end-up living in good ol' St.George! We'll see huh!
