5 Birthdays, 3 Christmases, & a Break-Through!!!

So, I'm a few months behind in my posts, but, at least Jordan will be happy to have the "Ode to Edward" post off the front page!
Our Holiday season was filled with one party after another, and it was ALOT of fun! We've fallen into a pattern of trading off Christmases and Thanksgivings between our families, and this year was the year for a Bartlett Christmas!
So, before leaving for California, we got together with my Stones family for a combined Triple Birthday - Christmas Celebration! My sister-in-law, Julia's birthday is December 5, followed by my Mom's BIG 50th on December 8 & my youngest sister, Amber's on December 16! So...to make sure no one felt like their birthday's were being overlooked, we made each birthday girl her own "Favorite" birthday cake! And with a combined total of 99 Birthday Candles...we were LUCKY to get through the "blowing-out-candles" without setting off the fire alarms!
After the birthday parties, we did the Christmas thing...and, just like each year prior, my Mom & Terry were way too generous with us! They pretty much funded the newest addition to our home entertainment...a Surround Sound System! We're loving it Thanks, Stoners!
After the Stones family celebration, we headed out West for another round of partying! As you can see from the pictures, they're a WILD bunch (especially the oldest of the group)!
On Christmas Eve I insisted that the neices & nephews (plus the youngest of the Bartlett brothers, Marc) perform the Nativity Story for us...and it was AWESOME!!! It was only the 5 minute version, but as you can see, we were well entertained! Thanks, Marc, Emily, Ryan, Tyce & Kelsey for humoring me! After Christmas, all the Bartlett girls got together and went to see my FAVORITE SPARKLY MAN! For me, this made #6...and some of you might say, "That's a bit obsessive." But I'd like to think of it as a BREAK-THROUGH..."Step #1...Admitting there's a PROBLEM!" But, like I always tell Jordan, if this is as bad as my addictions get...he's a LUCKY MAN!!! And, by the way, I've committed to stopping at 6!
I LOVED getting to see everyone and spend time getting caught up on what's going on in everyone's lives. Those Bartlett's are always entertaining! And, I just want to say, thanks alot Josh & Sarah and Jake & Shamay for making the cutest kids EVER...Now, no matter what Jordan and my kids (NOT making an announcement) look like, they'll never be the CUTEST kids in the FAMILY!!! :)
And, last but certainly not least, we got together for a FORTUNE FAMILY Christmas - Birthday Party...but not just ANY birthday party...but, yet ANOTHER 50th!!! Dad, it's good you've got those two boys to keep you YOUNG! We went up to Logan last weekend and spent the night with the Fortunes playing Seingeld SCENE-IT, STUPID UNO, and eating lots of GOOD food! It was alot of fun just hanging-out and spending time together! Family, truely is, the greatest gift we've been given!
