Christmas 2009

This year we spent Christmas with the Stones & Fortune families in freezing Cache Valley! I've only lived outside Cache Valley for 3 years, but already, I've forgotten how COLD it gets up there! It's too cold for my liking!

We had a blast spending time with my family. Here's some of the highlights...

The girls got matching pajamas on Christmas Eve.

So did the boys.

Julia brought her puppet's and we performed the Christmas story for the little boys, who as you can tell, were completely enthralled by it! (Side note, I laughed so hard during this performance for some reason, that I peed my pants!)

We had a White Elephant gift exchange on Christmas Eve...one lucky man got a basket full of awesome treats...or did he?!

There were other WONDERFUL prizes won during the White Elephant gift exchange! I think we might see this one at Lake Powell in May!

We also had a Bunco tournament that night...no pictures were taken because we were so into the game! Neither Jordan or I won...but we did get some great consolatory prizes! Thanks, Mom!

Christmas morning was full of excitement! Jordan got the massive, steel snow shovel he'd been asking for in addition to a ticket to a Jazz game, so he can have a "Man Date" with all his brothers in law! I guess he was a good boy this past year!

I guess I was a good girl, too, because Jordan SURPRISED me with a DYSON!!! I never thought I'd see the day that I was THRILLED to get a vacum for Christmas! But that day had come, and I couldn't wait to get home and try it out! (Side note, I have since tried it out...and I'm in LOVE!!!)

Things got a little crazy at one point, as you can see in the picture! The Alder family nearly lost one of their youngest to the deadly marshmallow gun!

We were reminded, yet again, that all little children really do LOVE Jordan! (And despite what he says, he really does love them!)

We saw Grandma and Grandpa Stones, who despite claiming to be another year older, look as good as ever! We love them!

The next day, we headed over to the Fortune's for a continued Christmas celebration...and what's becoming an annual Christmas Fiesta! We had alot of fun playing games and eating yummy mexican food! Needless to say, it was a stinky car ride home!
Thanks family for another great Christmas! We are sure blessed to have each one of you in our lives, and to have a knowledge of the true meaning of Christmas!
