Something about the apple and the tree...

On Saturday we attended a family Halloween party hosted by my sister and her husband. The theme of the party was "If the broom fits..." and we were all assigned to dress-up as one of the other family members. I was assigned my mom, and Jordan got my brother-in-law, Todd.

It was pretty freaky to see the resemblance between myself and my mom...Poor Jordan said, "Our relationship will never be the same again!" Just check-out the picture I'm holding...It's my mom & step dad on their wedding day! Look familiar?!? I guess it's obvious who won the prize for best resemblance!

My sister, Ashley, dressed up as me...and boy did she hit the nail on the head!

Aren't these the cutest Dragon & Lancelot you've ever seen?!?

Isn't Halloween the BEST?!?

Why I LOVE Halloween!!!

This past Saturday we had some of our ward friends over for (what's becoming) our annual Halloween Murder Mystery Party! This year, our game was titled "The Good, The Bad, and The Guilty" and it was set in the Old West. Of the eight characters, Jordan was "Chief Breaking Wind," those of you who know him will instantly understand why Jordan HAD to be assigned that character, and I was "Elvira Lynn Fection," I'll just leave it at that!

Our friends showed up in some of the best costumes I'd seen, and were great murder suspects! We ate lots of good food, impersonated some shady, yet hilarious, characters, and laughed 'til we (well, I) almost peed my pants! All in all, I'd say it was a total success!

Thanks guys, for coming and being such good sports! Same time next year?!
